Here in highly unionized SE Michigan, the locals and officers are all deep state hacks (at least publicly) but the membership is MAGA. I have a lot of union members in my family and to a man they are pro Trump - pro MAGA. If you recall it was here in Michigan during the 2020 election where Biden had his run in with the membership.

I have never seen this break between how the officers told them to vote and how they will actually vote before Trump. Maybe partially when Ross Perot ran but I think that was mostly because of NAFTA.
