There is one and only one valid move, if they want to disrupt Great Awakening. They gotta come clean and confess. In the short term it would feel like they lost, but in long term (the timescale they prefer anyway) it would leave an opening for them to start all over again.

Instead, if they end up taking Humanity to precipice, they will bring about Great Awakening and lose forever.

But we still see them marching off to the precipice their merry way. This brings me to my "rule 0" of Q operation. All the evil people, high enough in the hierarchy to understand the full Cabal plan are already gone. Only the mid and low level players are left and they have no clue what the full picture is.
