I filed the amendment with the help of Turbo tax, and got a thing saying they accepted it, then I" got a letter in the mail saying I" owed the IRS 1.1 million plus 22k for a bounced check fee.

i agree with the sentiment, but the execution could land you in more trouble than its worth. I believe it would take a very large movement to go up against the enforcement arm of the federal reserve.
It's already happening tho.... A record number of people have stopped filing, so I keep hearing. I'm loving it.
