Northern Jersey area, felt earthquake twice- this morning and just now at 6pm est. so scary. Please pray for us.

You'll be safe. These are weak tremors. If there is a 7 or higher I would be worried. The East Coast isn't built for earthquakes, but it can handle small tremors from time to time.

My house was shaking but nothing fell off shelves. It felt more like a big wind blew on the house. It did feel weird. 4.7 is a moderate earthquake.
