Holy Father, alarmists suggest we crossed too many red lines not to be at war imminently. Then there are two kind of people: the fearful who will actually believe this and vote the ignition of the war machine; and the Faithful who politely thank the alarmists for the entertainment, then go back to thinking about the people of the world as mostly peaceful and not willing to give some installed usurper the full powers he begs for. I pray You keep an eye on this situation and bless the Faithful with remaining the majority so we avoid this chaos and follow our lives constructively.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Pope Sixtus I.
The Holy See's Annuario Pontificio (2012) identifies him as a Roman by birth, who served from 117 or 119 to 126 or 128. His father's name was Pastor. According to the Liberian Catalogue of popes, he served the Church during the reign of Hadrian "from the consulate of Niger and Apronianus until that of Verus III and Ambibulus", that is, from 117 to 126. Eusebius states in his Chronicon that Sixtus I reigned from 114 to 124, while his Historia Ecclesiastica, using a different catalogue of popes, claims his rule from 114 to 128. All authorities agree that he reigned about ten years. Like most of his predecessors, Sixtus I was believed to have been buried near Peter's grave on Vatican Hill, although there are differing traditions concerning where his body lies today. In Alife, there is a Romanesque crypt, which houses the relics of Pope Sixtus I, brought there by Rainulf III. Alban Butler (Lives of the Saints, 6 April) states that Clement X gave some of his relics to Cardinal de Retz, who placed them in the Abbey of Saint Michael in Lorraine.

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Trusting the plan.
Mary!🤗💐
How are you? I almost busted my back pouring concrete but then there’s more to pour. Also organizing a nice lunch with the neighbors for tomorrow.🥳
You must be careful not to stoop while holding/pouring heavy stuff. They say to 'squat' bend at the knees, but I find that hard to work with. Anyway, glad you didn't cause any immediate harm. Back problems live with you for a lifetime.
I'm sure you have an exquisite menu planned for today's luncheon. Your neighbors are so lucky. Hope Brigatta is doing fine. Have you heard from her yet or is it too early since she is starting life anew?
I kept phoning and/or visiting Brigitta, she’s really serene and we enjoy each other company even if she doesn’t stay too long at times. There’s plenty which she won’t mend but she’s okay with this: she lost her life companion and everything around her reminds her of him. If she forgets, then it’s the end which she’s not ready for.🙏🏻💐
I'm so happy to hear that she is doing fine and you both keep in touch. Some women do really good after the death of their spouse, like my mother-in-law Millie. Her husband/George's father, died in his early 70's which made her in her late 60's. She will be 90 this year and she's had a very good life while married and then after marriage. She does her own thing and listens to no one. The boys/her sons wanted her to sell out and move into an Assisted Living Facility, but she will have none of it. A cousin lives by who he and his wife both check in on her daily. So I suppose Brigitta will most likely become like Millie. If she's 'head strong' and determined to live her life her way, she will survive many years. God bless her.
OW! Praying for your healing! Pray the movers actually get our things to our new home.
Hello LQdy!🤗💐
My back was actually ruined by some blood-pressure medicine I have been taking for a month now and backpain is listed as one of its frequent side-effects, as well as vertigo and headaches which Ialso got.
I cease taking it for 2 days now and I wait another week to inform my doctor of this.
Be sure I pray for a swift moving of yours.🙏🏻
And I will pray for your complete healing!
