Ahead of solar eclipse, NASA seeks public's help in recording strange animal behaviors
NASA's Eclipse Soundscapes Project attempts to replicate a similar study from 1935, proving the impact of solar eclipses on animal behavior. Here's how the public can help.
I look at it this way. We are from the animal kingdom; do we act strangely during an eclipse? Do we run around the yard and find a hiding spot? Do we howl at the moon during the eclipse out of an uncontrollable urge? Neither do the other animals. The only time animals did anything noticeable was during the birth of Jesus Christ when they lay down at the coming of the newborn King.
