What am I missing? This is the first time in human history a nation doesn't even know/realize they are at war and under attack.

I’ve tried to point all of the things you’ve mentioned to people. They just say it’s all normal and nothing is wrong. I’ve given up on those people, granted most will admit something is wrong.
