You should keep moving on with your life, as we all should. To answer your question, yes, the entire country may need to fall before we reach the precipice. Trump has caught them all, but the DS is cornered and probably still has some big moves left. This is truly an existential crisis for them, and they would rather burn the world down than surrender. Not only will they lose everything they've built for centuries (maybe millennia), but their future as well. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but by observing the increasing panic in the public DS puppets, there is a lot going on that we don't see. Trump's goal here is to destroy the DS, not the people of this country or the rest of the world. It will take as long as it needs to take and it won't progress on your schedule or mine.
