Been a Corporate Jet Pilot for 30 years...In my years in aviation, I have flown with maybe 3 or 4 female pilots...all were during routine flight checks for different aircraft. Without exception, I always came away thinking I would NEVER put myself in a position of having to fly with a female pilot where I was not the pilot in command. NEVER! Of course, I have no choice when I am a passenger on an airline. For many reasons (including my aversion to female pilots), most not known to the general, trusting, public...I will never get on another airliner when my flying days are over. At that time I will become a John Madden traveler.
Oh...and by the way...each and every female pilot ever hired was a DEI hire...every one of them. I say this because for every female pilot that has ever been hired, there were at least ten male pilots with more experience and way more qualified than the female and she was hired anyway...this is just a well known fact in the industry!
Kek- my weekly commute was a flying greyhound (Commercial - mostly UA). The things I saw from sitting in the back and then also having family that works for the airlines, I agree. I miss the different cities around the world, but I do not miss the flying. It's not only the crew, it's the people. I do not know what it is, other than the drunks, but a lot of people get stupid in these planes.
I wish I could have traveled more by corporate jet. Less people, but still the same issues you mentioned.

Bingo. I quit flying commercial and am only a land traveler after a family member with 30 year’s commercial piloting and the stories.
