Brink
Brink refers to the edge or the point where something is about to happen or change. It is the point where one is at the verge of something, be it success or failure. It is the point where one has the opportunity to take action and make a difference. Brink is often associated with a sense of urgency and the need for immediate action.
Precipice
Precipice, on the other hand, refers to a steep or overhanging cliff or rock face. It is a dangerous place where one can easily fall off and suffer serious injury or death. Precipice is often used metaphorically to describe a situation where one is at risk of experiencing a major setback or failure. It is a point of no return, where the consequences of one’s actions are severe and irreversible.
This is the one thing I hate about Trump. He’s 100% making abortion a political point to get votes. He wants to appeal to both sides despite it being clearly evident that abortion is murder and should be abolished. You can’t be Christian and approve of abortion. Life begins at conception and ending that life at any point is murder.
I agree with your personal outlook on it. In an ideal world, all 50 states would outlaw the murder practice.
I am also a very strong believer in our Constitutional Republic and that means State's Rights. The US Constitution was written as such that any power not explicitly granted to the federal government by the constitution is reserved for the States, or We The People.
There is not one word about granting the power over abortions one way or the other to the federal government. This means it is reserved for the States or We The People, and we need to use our voices/votes at the state level to end the evil practice.
There was a reason they didn’t leave slavery up to the states to decide. Abortion needs to be abolished the same way that slavery was.
