Brink
Brink refers to the edge or the point where something is about to happen or change. It is the point where one is at the verge of something, be it success or failure. Precipice
Precipice, on the other hand, refers to a steep or overhanging cliff or rock face. It is a dangerous place where one can easily fall off and suffer serious injury or death. Precipice is often used metaphorically to describe a situation where one is at risk of experiencing a major setback or failure. It is a point of no return, where the consequences of one’s actions are severe and irreversible.
Because none of it holds up to questioning. The atrocities throughout history that occurred...where was God stepping in to help?
Or is it one of those "well without the shots he would be less dead than the other guy"
So either God is one hell of a pacifist, straight up evil like Satan, or doesn't exist. Or is an alien, not the all omnipotent omnipresent being we were told. So their scope will be far more limited.
