I've seen "families" on the news that were arrested for abusing their kids, and husband and wife both were abusers. Sometimes (but not always) the husband gets the girls and the wife gets the boys. Whether or not this happened, staying quiet and letting it happen is just as bad and should be charged as such. Just like a get-away driver in a robbery where someone was killed will also have capital murder charges.
