Boomerang Time!
Trump Media & Technology waited until the absolute deadline to submit their amended complaint to proceed with a $3.8B lawsuit against Jeff Bezos' Washington Post.
If you have been paying attention, the media has been on a full assault against Trump Media since its IPO. I have a suspicion that each one of these fake news hit pieces will be used against them to seek retribution against Trumps brand.
Lets be honest, Truth Social was countered by the Twitter / X narrative when Elon Musk bought it. But... maybe there was a bigger business plan with this then simply restoring free speech?
Since 2016, every Trump voter was put into submission by the fake news - they created the narrative that Trump was equivalent to Hitler and that any of his supporters were literally white supremacist's Nazi's / QAnon nuts. They relentlessly created hoax after hoax and tarnished the Trump name. They took what should have been a giant victory from those who voted for Trump and turned it into a loathing where Trump supporters were afraid to even speak up and show their support for the greatest President of their time.
Where am I going with this? - Well Trump has broadcast that his brand is worth A LOT of money in cases like the NYC suit. How much you may ask? Well we don't know but the fake news has tarnished his brand and he is going to be seeking damages against them with the creation of Trump Media and Technology Group.
Since the IPO there has been hundreds of blasphemous articles put out where news outlets have called it a scam run by a conman and recently they have been running stories of how it is tied to Russia, Porn Companies, Prostitution Rings- You name it.
The TMTG business model is based around disrupting big tech and fake news. What could be a bigger disruptor then suing them into bankruptcy for fake news it pieces like we are seeing?
Currently Trump has multiple lawsuit open:
Recently Devin Nunes (TMTG CEO) said they are also opening new suits against The Guardian and the Independent due to stories about Russia ties mentioned above.
Could TMTG's business model be for becoming a target to sue all the competition. We saw Alex Jones and InfoWars sued for $1B due to the statements made on the families of Sandy Hook. So what will Trump be able to sue for?
????
