I had a friend in grade school that always used this word...I have to say it was very impressive for an elementary school age kid...a term I have never forgotten forever seared into my memory...thanks for taking me back over 60 years...😄...

Maybe because the word was famously used in Mary Poppins and then copied in dozens of early cartoons and memes. Before meme was even a word 😄

Well sorry to say my friend preceeded Mary Poppins by several years...so wonder why he started using it...haha. I did not realize it was featured in MP and I really loved that movie...Feed the Birds was my favorite...go figure...wonder whatever happened to dear old Tom H...long ago memories...thanks for jiggling this one loose after SO many years!
