Aussie here. This whole thing reeks of FF.

The two “heros” nursing the mother and baby just so happened to get interviewed outside straight afterwards. Talking about compressing the wounds, blood everywhere apparently. But they are both spotless.

Then there’s a video of a female cop performing cpr on a “victim” but she’s not pumping the chest, she’s pumping the stomach. Bad crisis acting?

Attacker apparently graduated from a Harristown school in or near Toowoomba in 2000. But already people who graduated that same school that same year don’t remember him.

He apparently worked as an online English tutor. Therefore there’ll be no coworker stories.

There’s plenty more too.

Now it’s Hegelian Dialectic time. Problem Reaction Solution.

Will wait and see what the authorities put forward as the “solution” to this incident moving forward. My guess: More surveillance. Facial recognition digital ID measures to be put forward if you want to enter any public space, be it a shopping center, mall, cinema or sports stadium.

We’ll see…

And I agree with my American frens’ 2a sentiments. This type of thing is a lot harder to pull off if the people are able to defend themselves.
