Seeing things being once again brought up in the legacy media means (to me) that we are about to see exposure on these things.

The agency in the spotlight here is CDC.

Have to get the normies at least marginally aware of something's existence before lambasting them with the truth.

Good point. I'm sure it has been to some small degree, but I haven't seen any Vax stuff in the news lately. I bet you're right, they're preemptively deflecting and priming people for news to come
