If you tried to convince me 10 years ago that Iran was a force of good, I never would have believed you.
Even when it became clear Russia w/ Putin was a force of good, I still couldn't understand why Putin kept working with Iran.
But hearing how they phoned Trump to tell him they planned to miss, to avoid US casualties and seeing how restrained and measured they are against Israel's uncontrolled bloodlust has changed my mind about them.
Indeed. Add to that the Iranian person (all personnel in my dad's firm were expected to employ a houseboy - to improve the economy for the refugees -he had a family to feed). The gentle man fed me, and put up with my pranks, when I was a child.
And the Iranians I went to school with, who were held at the US border, even though they were only teenagers, just like me.
And the Iranian med student I flatted with, who kindly showed me how to cook rice the Iranian way.
Erm. They were planning to level the last bastion of 1M refugees huddled at the border, with no way of escaping - like shooting fish in a barrel.
There is also an interesting discussion going on, on MoA regarding the current impasse:

This one is for them.
