I get your point. It really makes no sense either because there are actually a few very good newish rock bands, IMO. Why listen to these washed up has beens with so much good new rock out there? Give a listen to Monster Truck, Dirty Honey, Greta Van Fleet, Poor Man's Poison, The Cold Stares, Black Stone Cherry.
