theres that oath thing again, maybe dr's are happy being a different kind of citizen than normal "us" citizens. so it's ok for them to kill others since they were only trying to help. they have institutional immunity, with other important oath takers protecting their vulnerable backsides.
depends on the oath. i wasn't necessarily alluding to the Hippocratic oath. team satan's oath's have consequences due to engagement of other team member witnesses. in early us history (early 1800s), some of these oath cults were nearly banned from holding government office. a large number of professionals (MD's, lawyers etc...) are members of oath cults.
