I ran into the same problem trying to DRS shares to Computershare. WeBull told me I must have pre-existing Computershare account, but could never open one without the shares to put in!
Go to FAQs on Odyssey page, scroll down to forms and click on Stock Power Form. I believe you have to fill this out and submit to Odyssey to transfer stock to them. At least that is what it looks like to me.
Well I hope you didn't just give up after that. Your Computershare account is created by your broker when they DRS transfer the first share. You will then receive your account login details and go from there to create a password etc.
If people still haven't DRS your GME shares then use:
The request, and all details, went in writing to WeBull who then responded I must have a prior account. With no phone number to call and frustrating hours into it, I took a hiatus.
Thank you for the poke, I will get back at it today!
Huh, yeah I don't recall now when I DRSd my GME, but I do recall reading over on the reddit DRS guide if you didn't have a CS account one would be created once your shares were received.
I'm pretty sure I created an account first. I hate doing much on my phone so I'll have a look at Odyssey when I get home.
You can start it by calling you broker, they will push the shares for you. You then open an account.
Not all transfer agents are good and customer friendly like computershare. AST the transfer agent for BBBY didn't allow limit sells and had shitty customer service.
I have no idea, I asked that on truth, but didn't recive an answer. If they don't allow limit sell we need to ask how often they sell. Computershare only did it once a day.
That's no good if we get a moass or even if the stock is volatile.

That website has step by step instructions for every broker including webull. Now you have no excuse :)
Someone should setup a website like that for $DJT

It seems complicated at first, but its really not that hard.
You will feel much better having the shares legally owned in your name. Heres the WeBull step-by-step instructions.

Do you know if Odyssey allows limit selling?
