This is constantly fascinating to me. What Russia is taking from the US, after Putin handed Trump “the ball”. ... they haven’t brutally retaliated against the US yet.

That is also what I was thinking. So imagine Russia being a "democracy"? - No, I am fine with Putin being a "brutal dictator" for so long, otherwise Europe would be in total hell by now.
