Holy Father, for some, the concept of guardian angel is idiotic. I happen to know mine: The Lady who was around me when I was a toddler, with my father locked in a faraway gulag and Mum working to feed all of us. My great aunt was a great person who also nursed Mum when she was a baby. I praise You for how happy she made me and my siblings whilst the odds where against us and I pray she found a wonderful place near You.

In 1288 Agnes, despite her youth at only 20 years of age, was noted for her devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and deep life of prayer, and was elected as the prioress of the community. There she gained a reputation for performing miracles; people suffering from mental and physical ailments seemed cured by her presence. She was reported to have "multiplied loaves", creating many from a few on numerous occasions, recalling the Gospel miracle of the loaves and fishes. She herself, however, suffered severe bouts of illness which lasted long periods of time.

Amen. Yes, we all have a Guardian Angel. I'm so happy you knew yours personally. Mine came and saved me while I was paralyzed in the bed. Around the age of 20 when I was first married to my kids father, he used to go to work at 3:30 AM every morning. I would get up, cook his breakfast, see him off and go back to bed. Then something called 'Sleep paralysis' set in on me. The first time it happened it scared the crap out of me. I was awake and I know I was every time it happened. I couldn't move, I couldn't roll over, and I couldn't get up as if a heavy weight was upon me. I was having a hard time breathing. I would finally muster enough strength to jerk myself out of it and get up. I told my husband about it and he said I must have been covering my head up with the blankets.
Anyway after this happening to me morning after morning, one morning I was laying on my side and became paralyzed. I couldn't move my legs or body from my feet to my neck. I couldn't breath and was fighting with all my might to get up. I had broke out in a sweat. I suddenly saw my Mother, (who died when I was 17 yo) come through the wall. I felt the bed go down as she sat down in the curve of my body; (remember I was on my side) and she wiped the sweat from my brow. I suddenly jumped up and she disappeared in thin air. I think I was going to die that morning, but my Mother; or who I thought was my Mother, came and saved me.
I was told later by a church member who I confided in that the Sleep paralysis was really a Demon who was trying to take over my body. And my Mother was my Guardian Angel but I was not allowed to see the True Form of who my Guardian Angel really is, so it came to me in someone familiar so as not to scare me too bad. After that morning, I never went back to bed again. I have had it happen a couple of times later on in my life, but Praise the Lord, I always come out of it. May God bless each and everyone of our Guardian Angels.

On a lighter note, when I got my driving license and we went shopping, my wife used to tell me not to try to park too close from the mall entrance as it’s always occupied. I jokingly told her how Aunt Aymée would have a nice parking place freed just for us… and there always was. One day, Anne went shopping alone and all the parking was occupied. She prayed Aunt Aymée and immediately saw the best spot being freed as she was driving by.
Since then she also invokes her for serious matters.🙏🏻🔥
Amen. Aunt Aymee was a good soul. It's nice to know she is still with you today. We all keep our loved ones in our hearts, but when you can pray a loved one to help you, that's a miracle in itself. God bless Aunt Aymee. I feel as if I know her already.
She raised me and she was born in 1897. Taught me to walk and read. A great person who had to take over the great sister duties when hers died when she was 9 yo. She never was allowed to wed so she considered Mum and me as her babies.🥰
She was a blessing to you and your Mum. Since she had spent all her life taking care of others, she found it comforting to take care of you. She needed you as bad as you needed her. To her, you probably were her child. I've had people tell me the same about Ninky since I've had her from 5 weeks old. You have every right to feel blessed and happy that Aunt Aymee was there for you. God only knows what would have happened had she not been. God put her there for that time of need. She was and is a beautiful soul. I pray many years of Aunt Aymee watching over you until that Joyful day you are reunited in Heaven. God bless.
