“Banning” seems like a childish, unthoughtful response to me, and always has. “Nuh uh! You can’t do that!” stomps feet. They already know they shouldn’t be doing it. What’s a congressional guideline do?
I would imagine the adult one is something more like bring it under control.
If so, how would that be done?
Might it be done by recognizing that they’ve been working for other countries for decades, then finding a way to get them pass a bill that only benefits a foreign government and none of our citizens, while waving an allegiance to that foreign government?
Almost certainly. How do you get them to do that, though? They aren’t that retarded.
What sort of responses should that invoke from people who are just seeing it? What responses should it invoke from people who are somewhat read in? How could this be done again in the future?
I don’t claim to know these answers, but they seem like we should work on figuring them out.
