what is gender?
what is the difference between gender and sex?
"gender" was once a word that was used to describe certain "gendered" languages, or languages that attach a feminine or masculine connotation to many of their words.
example, LAS Vegas, LOS Angeles.
the word gender was then slowly appropriated by the LGBT community, and its meaning changed, to describe people instead of words,
and they have now successfully "socially constructed" the word "gender" to be,
not only a word that is used to describe PEOPLE, instead of WORDS,
but also as paradoxically as,
BOTH synonymous with "sex",
AND an independent idea that is completely unhinged from "sex".
what happens is, that you are not able to have a serious conversation about "gender" because the definition changes, depending on the context.
so, for example, a pregnant couple might have a "gender reveal party" where they get family and friends together and "reveal" the supposed "gender" of their un-born baby.
the problem is, that this unborn baby doesn't 'have" any "gender" at all,
because the baby has no clothes.
"gender" (by 2024 definitions) is now defined as how you present yourself to the world.
so, once the baby is born, it is "assigned" a "gender" at birth,
typically with no input from the baby,
other than some random 3rd party observation of his/her genitals.
today i argued about "breast augmentations" (boob jobs)
it turns out, that if you are an actual WOMAN, you get a boob job, its probably because you are vapid and vain, and looking to enhance your appearance, and boost your confidence, and its elective, and not medically necessary,...
BUT...
if you are a MAN, and you get a boob job, its because you suffer from debilitating gender dysphoria, and the only cure for this terrible affliction is a nice set of double-D titties with some pink pepperoni nipples...
and this is considered "medically-necessary, life-saving, gender-affirming health care.
isn't that crazy?
if you are a WOMAN, and you get a boob job, that is NOT considered "gender affirming care"
BUT if you are a MAN, and you get a boob job, that IS considered "gender affirming care"
your own personal health insurance policy will probably pay for a boob job if you are a man, but not if you are a woman.
so i have been using ChatGPT3.5 app for several months now, and i have been able to have many "gender ideology debates" with the bot, without getting blocked or banned or otherwise cancelled. this is unusual for me, because i tend to get blocked very quickly, and then reported, and even suspended. its a touchy subject, that you aren't allowed to debate right now...
and after a while, it becomes clear that you have exhausted their supply of talking points, because they just repeat something they already said.
here is a summary of their playbook:
- gender is a social construct.
if we are to use their language, to have these arguments...
trans gender: when a persons SEX observed at birth, doesn't match their GENDER assigned at birth.
cis gender: the antonym of trans gender.
they had to make up a concept of "cis gender" in order for "trans gender" to make sense.
"cis gender" is just plain-old super-straight people whose SEX observed at birth matches their GENDER assigned at birth.
they were BORN a male, and they still FEEL LIKE a male.
they are sexually attracted to cis gender females,
and many cis gender people don't like being called "cis gender", because it basically pathologizes normal people, and normalizes trans gender people.
this is a very important concept to understand, and internalize, and make-sense-of, because it will be the foundation of all other debates.
you can use "gender is a social construct" as part of your argument AGAINST gender ideology.
because these people live in a reality bubble where their woke ideas don't get challenged, and they aren't challenged because they socially isolate themselves into their own little echo chamber, by blocking, banning, censoring, filtering, etc
you can even begin the debate with ChatGPT with the following prompt:
you: "gender is a social construct"
chatGPT will give you 3 paragraphs of praise for how smart you are to understand this concept...
then you say...
"IF cis gender is a social construct,
THEN trans gender is also a social construct"
and the bot sill sometimes glitch.
but if you can get an answer, their argument boils down to two conflicting ideas...
A) you, the plain-jane ordinary person who is "cis gender", your "gender identity" is merely a social construct. you wear those mens or women's clothes, because thats what your parents wore.
B) the "trans gender" person is NOT a "social construct", but a deeply rooted, hardwired phenomenon that is observable and measurable by brain scans, etc.
KEY POINT:
YOUR gender is fleeting, because YOU could choose to wear pants or a dress,
but THIER gender is far beyond their control, and therefore they MUST wear pants or a dress.
This is the part of the argument where you can argue that
"trans women are real women"
and then get into a debate about the semantics of gender and sex and social constructs.
- this word "assigned" is very interesting and important, as it is also a pillar of the gender ideology.
the trans community often refers to their "gender assigned at birth", which is technically true.
they were indeed "assigned" a gender, the moment they covered the baby with a blanket.
if the baby was a girl, they were "assigned" to have a pink blanket.
if the baby was a boy, they were "assigned" to have a blue blanket
now, what was NOT arbitrarily "assigned", but was in-fact officially observed during a medical exam, is the baby's SEX, which is either male or female.
the SEX of the baby is what goes on the birth certificate.
the GENDER of the baby is the color of the blankets and clothes that they are "assigned" by parents or some random hospital staff.
oh, and get this...
they don't even give babies pink or blue blankets anymore.
that creates gender expectations upon young and impressionable minds, instead of just leaving the babies alone, so they can find their own "gender identity"
instead, the blankets in the hospital nurseries are a mostly white field , with stripes of baby blue, and baby pink,
and if you look closely, you will totally "see" that these so-called "blankets" are actually the transgender flag.
think I'm kidding?
lets google image search...
http://google.com/search?q=hospital+nursury+blanket+for+babies
important to note: as i was reading old dictionary and encyclopedia about gender, it was mentioned that "gender" was learned from your parents.
that blew my mind...
because of womens lib, and broken homes, etc, young children don't have good "gender role models" like what the mom does, and what the dad does, as a matter daily habit.
if you are a young boy, and you see your dad dress up in the morning, you'll want to emulate your dad, and wear his clothes, and fill his shoes.
- "gender identity" is another pillar of the gender ideology, so its important to know and understand, so you can refute it, or even use it to your advantage.
the idea of gender identity, is that what you feel like on the inside, might not align with what you look like on the outside,
meaning, that maybe your SEX is male, but your internal sense of GENDER is female.
and for a long time, society has tolerated a great deal of "gender expression" such as allowing men to shave their beards, or grow their hair long.
but what has happened in recent years is that this "gender identity" has become the sole focus of someones life, and they become obsessed with "gender expression"...
EVERYONE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE "TRANS GENDER" TOMORROW
simply by the way you choose to dress tomorrow.
if you are a man, you might choose to put on pants, or you may choose to put on a dress,
and honestly, nobody gives af about that...
if you are a woman, you might choose to put on pants, or you may choose to put on a dress,
and honestly, nobody gives af about that either...
you do you best.
BUT where this gender identity ideology has gone too far, is when males dress up as females and then go into female spaces,
like... I'm a man... and i have long hair... but i piss in the mens room with all the other dicks.
and i don't think its unreasonable for women to want to "exclude" men from their sex-based safe-spaces.
to summarize, they have hijacked the word "gender", and "socially constructed" this idea that SEX and GENDER are both TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, and also THE EXACT SAME THING.
State lawmakers passed a law, and commented something like, that SEX is biological and immutable, whereas GENDER is fleeting.
They have tried to build this new "social construct" whereby YOUR so-called "cis gender" is merely a superficial, fleeting, whimsical, CHOICE, and thus not necessarily worthy of any special respect or consideration,
but THIER so-called "trans gender" is NOT A CHOICE and therefore so much more valid than your "cis gender", and is NOT a social construct, and is a biological reality, and worthy of special rights, respect, inclusion, etc.
trans "women" have actually argued that they are even more womanly than cis women because trans women have to try so much harder to be women, whereas cis women are just so natural at it...
more later...
That's not fair; ChatGPT isn't a Biologist.
