I was there that day. Somebody mezzanine outside. as the guy ran by, he kept yelling. She’s been shot somebody’s been shot. I think it was supposed to be fear porn, and something to stir up the crowd to anger people to want to fight back.

Here’s the problem with their plan…. as the guy was running by, I thought to myself… Nobody got shot, they just want us to leave. That was my initial reaction. During that time, I wasn’t on my phone and checking the news. I didn’t even know if somebody was shot. As far as I knew, somebody was just talking shit, so I think the idea the crowd up into a frenzy just didn’t work.

They wanted a real insurrection. They wanted people angry, they wanted fire, they wanted something that was visibly tangible and physically tangible to hang out to dry. But it didn’t work. They tried so hard to make it look like it was something really bad happening, and it and it just wasn’t. it’s unfortunate that people are in jail right now for doing absolutely nothing except for exercising their constitutional right to protest.

They wanted a war. But they didn’t get it.
