Thankfully there were only 3 tv stations, A incentive for us to go outside and enjoy the real world around us and friends.

My mother limited us to one to two hours a day of TV depending on what was on.

Same here, with the exception tv was not a issue for me, After school , homework and chores. I wanted to be outside with my friends.
