excellent, thank you. I'd dispute Russia or China in this mix as they are both "superpowers", though I may be wrong on that..
I debated putting Russia and China also. Maybe you are correct and they shouldn't be there.
In the framework I had in mind the proxy states are merely channels through which the superpowers funnel actions through that wouldn't be "optically correct" if done in the open under their own banners.
