Yeah he will likely get a bunch of tattoos removed or covered up on this journey. I always thought tattoos are a bad idea because people change.

For some, the tattoos are a reminder of the journey you've taken and can be meaningful. I've never been a fan of tattoos and have never felt inclined to get one, but when someone explained their reasoning as being similar to a person who left their fat behind and rather than being ashamed of their stretch marks, being reminded of how far they've come.
