We wouldn't have a problem if the companies were forced to stop laying off all the citizens with years of experience. You know - the ones that have made their way up with promotions and raises only to get laid off and replaced with an H1B foreigner working for peanuts.

Stop ALL H1B Visas and that won't happen anymore. It will end up similar to all the old COBOL programmers that had to be brought back when they realized nobody else knew any of that.
