Recently saw a video where a huge alligator started chasing a golf car. Its scary!
Florida - the swamp of alligators, crocodiles, pythons and other nasty creatures. Perhaps not everywhere if you know how to choose the place.
We have a couple separate troupes of chimps in the Everglades, baboons in Silver Springs, other variations of wild monkeys in the Ocala Nat'l Forest, flesh eating bacteria and brain eating amoeba in our fresh water ponds, piranha in the St Johns River, lionfish off our oceanic coasts, great whites that regularly migrate to our waters, Nile Monitor Lizards, an exploding bear population, very mean and wild Canada Geese that refuse to leave now, Nile Crocs in the Everglades, ginormous banana spiders everywhere, and I don't know what else, even though I'm a Native Floridian. And that's just the invasive species I can think of that I've seen myself trudging the swamps and flats around FL.
So, yeah, Florida is closed people. Spread the word. We don't need any more pansy assed blue state residents moving down here and then compkai ih about the local wildlife or how "its not like this back home where I'm from." If it's so much better where you come from, then move back or STFU and quit complaining.
Btw, I've seen 12' gators scale a 6-7' wood privacy fence like it was nothing. If a gator wants a new water hole, it will find a way to it.
Not a complaint, just a tiny observation based on what I hear, that I am sure no way justifies vast variety of life. You could politely and nicely clarify rather than angry wall of text. FL is one of my favorite places to move to based on all the flora that thrives there. Obviously where the flora flourishes, fauna also follows. I think I am more scared of angry clowns like you than wild life.
Also remind you about free speech, we express what we see and feel. Secondly everyone has freedom of movement, you can't tell someone not to move or move back. It would be decided by individuals themselves. You may own a small piece of land that you can protect and nobody can rob you from that. But you can't speak for entire state, you don't own any of it to claim its yours.
Lastly what you are saying is doing the opposite to what you're intending. This post and my comment could be deterring people to move to Florida whereas your explanation about diversity of wildlife in Florida is showing people how enchanting the place is and just based on your comments I am even more inclined to move to Florida than before. So you may want to follow your own advice of STFU and just enjoy the blessed place that you are living in.

When I was considering relocating, one of my frens was talking about Florida. I said no. Too many pythons and gators.
I’ll take that over the swamp creatures I’m dealing with in NJ anytime.
