When it comes to claims of entirely failed weapons systems I have to lean toward this being a part of the "show". I cannot imagine the good elements in the military having enough pull to put together and execute this whole plan, but don't have plans to keep our military strong and up to date technologically. I mean the idea that we're struggling with hypersonic missiles, knowing what kind of things our government hides, seems a little off.
