Or, you can look at it as both hands pointing at "9". Date on the watch was "11"....9/11. Also, what's up with the trident second hand?

At 2:27 the watch is at either 8:42 or 8:43 with the date on 11. No idea of the significance.
The use of the cassette tape and the old desktop button telephone and what may be a reel to reel tape at 2:24 may mean something. Unfamiliar to most younger people.
