It is noble, but the argument against it will not stop the U.S. from doing so (to a large degree). Trump knew that, and his ‘take no bullshit attitude’ about it is what caused foreign leaders and adversaries and allies to respect him/us and not do the shit they get away with when Leftist democrats are at the helm of the U.S.
No matter how anyone slices it, Trump was better at it than anyone else and that will always be the case. We can war against the nature and essence and the very existence of that truth as a concept (whether moral or not, the concept of the U.S. policing elsewhere) but the U.S. is as such, and part of what Trump recognized as the U.S. as being so great is policing with peace through strength and doing what was necessary when necessary.
To do nothing and allow every nation to run its natural course and desires would be to allow unabated evil to run its course. Other nations depend on us, need us, and would fall totally and further into communism and socialism and caliphate-ism without us.
