This is true and I use these verses in the very same way to prove that Jesus was not "murdered" as in taken helplessly by surprise but willingly gave up His life. As he said...He could have had 12 legions of angels.
But when it comes to those who held the fake trial and those who delivered Him to Pontius Pilate and those who shouted Crucify Him at the bewilderment of Pilate...it was the Jews.
Peter tells them of this in Acts 2:23
Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death.
Steven also accuses them before he is stoned to death, of murder.
You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers. Acts 7: 51-52
I look at it as the time Jesus said in Lk 17:1 “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to one through whom they come!"
Or
Matthew 26:24 - The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
In other words, yes 100% mortals can not kill God in any form, mortal or spiritual and this makes the sacrifice of our Lord that much more important since He could have ended it all but He loved us that much. The Jews however were still guilty of the murder and needed to repent.
Sorry this turned out to be really long but I do hope you find it helpful. God bless you friend
