So, a few things:
Saying "that's what you get for sticking your neck out" doesn't really sound like the mods. At the very least, it is barren of context.
"now all your posts will be under scrutiny" sounds like a temp ban, not a permanent one, so circumventing the ban to complain isn't going to have a very positive result with that in mind.
It's not uncommon to take your post a step too far and be put into time out for a couple days.
It sucks, but mods (not just GAW) have always had a tough run of things even since The_Donald on Reddit.
I've criticized the mods, but it comes from a place of passion and love (maaaaybe it doesn't always come across as the latter haha) but it's not an easy bit of work sometimes.
Perhaps rather than trying to throw them to the wolves directly, take a minute to see from their point of view.
Maybe you think you're right in the end, or maybe you can understand their position and feel a begrudging apology is due, who knows.
But if all you had was a temp ban, circumventing it as a handshake just to call them out or attack them only puts you in a worse position, even moreso since leftists have a lot to gain from stirring up drama which is why there is a handshake on the .wins to begin with.

I've been put in timeout quite a few times.
Honestly, lucky I wasn't perma banned.
Mods have a hard time.
Each of those timeouts given, were justified.
I don't agree with my time out more recently, but rarely do we. I did my best to take it in stride though because it was just a few days, wasn't a permaban and there wasn't malice in the response.

I wish I could use drunk as an excuse! I'm just generally sleep deprived, which is also why I post in bursts all day and all night haha.
