Bingo! A forensic audit of the device would have showed its audio and video devices were REMOTELY switched on and by what IP address. My guess the IP would go right back to the school and probably the pedo principle.
As noted in a comment earlier - the dumber these people are, the more obvious it is what they’re doing and the easier it is for us to fight them.
It’s a blessing in an odd way.
