Ridiculous why she even took the laptop back. Norms will never learn. When you have evidence, DON'T GIVE IT UP. Take it straight to an attorney.
Who knows. She may have called police. Assisting in getting the goods on them. She's certainly outing them. I'd put the sting on them, if it were me my child was too little to understand and tell their friends.
