Where I live the farmers grow 4 things- all government subsidized crops, sprayed with synthetic fertilizers and doused in pesticides. The soil is tan and lifeless. Most farmers sold out agriculture to the universities decades again. The genre of farming is a misnomer that needs a deep reset. I have no respect for the “ poor farmer” tropes. We need homesteaders and permaculture farming. It’s a hell of a lot work and costs a shit ton of money and requires a co-op.
This same commercial agricultural being lamented jabs the shit out of their animals and ugh the silage….. makes their cows literally shit pools of liquid. It’s as salt of the earth as Beyoncé’s country album.
It’s why my eggs are delicious with deep gold yolks and store bought are pale and lifeless with a poor nutritive profile.
Yes, I think that the white hats are destroying the 'bad practice' parts of big ag.
That so-called food was not good for us, particularly after they sprayed the finished crops with roundup to make them easier to harvest.
What scares me is the mentions of replicators like on Star Wars. What do they replicate all the food you can imagine with. That's gotta be powdered synthetics.
I remember Trump said at least once that after we get free energy we will get replicators.
I guess I really don’t see Trump in the light if putting soda in the middle school drinking fountains. I have no reason to believe that the white hat stuff is anything more than hyperbole. Most regular folks object to change. To turn agricultural on it’s head with a new admin. isn’t very likely. It is evident that ALL vaccines are fraudulent science and yet people who claim to be WIDE AWAKE will defend polio or tetanus; or, any other vaccine that they have chosen to feel comfortable about. Do I hope we can fix healthcare or agriculture? Yes! But change if it happens is always slow slow slow. Especially because it’s always about the money. Farmers and hospitals get real paid by the government and what’s truly better in the long run be damned.
I think you mean, Blade Runner btw.

Make crop rotation great again.
