Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
Maybe instead of being upset with "the last" to receive the information, we should take the opportunity to be grateful that they are finally getting it?
At the beginning of the mandates, I remember praying that it would somehow work out for all of us--vaccinated and unvaccinated alike. And here we are three or so years later, and yeah the vaccinated clearly are the side that would prefer a do-over, but overwhelmingly they are still alive and kicking--at least at a level that I can't personally discern any difference in their outcomes.
And yeah, I'd say the NYT readership is getting it, or has dwindled to such a small number that it doesn't matter.
The percent of the population reporting receipt of the updated 2023-24 COVID-19 vaccine is 14.1% (95% confidence interval: 13.6-14.7) for children and 22.5% (22.1-22.9) for adults 18+, including 41.0% (39.9-42.0) among adults age 65+.
(Though gotta admit I am a bit skeptical of that data as they have the flu "vaccine" as being received by over 50% of the population!)
BREATHTAKING HYPOCRITES. But will their loyal snobbish elite readers even get it? Probably not.
