Yes. My church is a country church out in the middle of nowhere. The little town is basically made up of a Baptist church and the Christian church I attend. There is a community center which used to be a store and a small clinic provided by the farmers there. A few houses dot what should be a town and that is all. Now they want to kill off the forest animals too. There are woods behind our church and a cornfield in front of it. Talk about rural.
Sounds like an awesome place to live my friend... I envy you in that respect...
It's only 15 minutes from my home unlike the 30 minute drive we used to have at our other church. The grandkids love it and we always drive to the other nearest small town to buy them chips and soda pop after church. And the boys get to go to summer camp again this summer provided by our small but great church and their youth fund.
That's awesome!!! I'm glad for you and the grandkids... 😊😊😊

And have a great day. I'm outta here. Kek!
Simple life....when kids got excited about driving in the car for a small treat like a gas station snack or pizza or ice cream. It's good to know it still exists in some places.
Yes, it still exists. And we tell them whether we are stopping or not before we go to church as some Sundays we may be running a little low on money. But most Sundays, we go as they love their chips and soda pop and they don't get to go out very often.
This is the way... it's the simple things in life that give us the most joy..
Have you noticed how Chris Wray looks like Eddie Albert? Or is it just me?
i love the small town life i am jealous lol
I do too. I used to live in (town) where it's crowded in and the neighbors can hear every word going on, but the country life where you can do what you want and say what you want....that's the life.
