Yeah, it's like that. I think we all get to the point sooner or later when we experience information overload. After that, it becomes a matter of balancing priorities, learning to filter the information we engage with, and go for cognitive quality not quantity.

Anyhoo, as a side note, the boys at Defected have a very interesting take (IMO) re: MTG. Also, the possible impacts of actually turfing the House over to the Dems for the 6 months leading up to the election, allowing them to take all the blame for the havoc they are going to create to undermine the election (demonstrations, events, etc, etc).

I strongly recommend these lads for a 'palate-cleansing' of the old grey matter....
