I have read several articles, which include interviews of former IRS employees, who have stated the following: When asked what specific law passed by Congress compels us to pay Income Tax, they had no idea. One individual, an investigator for the IRS, went to every level of management, to the very top, and asked the same question. Not one person within that organization could cite a law, passed by Congress, and signed by the President, which compels us to pay the Income Tax. It was intended to be a temporary, voluntary effort to fund the 1st World War. By the time the war was over, everyone had accepted the idea, and here we are today. BTW, the investigator who tried to get an answer to this question, was fired. Fuckery of the highest order.
