Thu, May 9, 2024 Ascension Day, also known as the Feast of the Ascension is a Christian observance that will take place on May 9 in 2024. It is celebrated on the 40th day of Easter, or the sixth Thursday after Easter. This was the last day Christ was seen by his followers before ascending to heaven.

Praise God! Such a fascinating timeline between resurrection Sunday and Christs ascension into heaven-Jesus appearing and disappearing to the disciples behind locked doors and to random people in the city and on the road…And doesn’t the Bible talk about ( I think) 500 souls also resurrected from their graves with Jesus- what must that have looked like????
