It is celebrated on the 40th day of Easter, or the sixth Thursday after Easter. This was the last day Christ was seen by his followers before ascending to heaven.

Ascension Hospitals nationwide had no internet service and no explanations were forthcoming. In Nashville surgeries cancelled due to the outage and all that was said is it is nationwide. An interesting event on Ascension Day at Ascension Hospitals.
I work at Acension in Illinois, we did have internet, however I believe we were breached. I was also told Epic was out nationwide!
