How / why is Q Different from operation Trust? Honest question.
OPT was a counterintelligence (CI) operation used to lure dissidents back into Russia for arrest. This was done by placing news articles about anti-Bolshevik operations designed to catch their eyes in newspapers in the satellite areas where they were suspected of being located. When they got back to Russia, they were then imprisoned. Overall the operation was marginally successful. OPT was a combination of HUMINT and information warfare.
Q on the other hand contains no overt elements of HUMINT. Nor has it been used to round up it's followers, or lure us to any location, or to promote any specific action other than basically teaching its followers how to research, compile, and analyze and then disseminate via social media, word of mouth, memetic warfare, etc.
Also, given how "QAnon" has been so demonized by the MSM, up to and including an attempt in US Congress to pass a resolution denouncing it, it's obvious that Q is not a black hat operation. Or involved in any form of CI.
If Q was an OPT-like program 1) it hasn't resulted in any arrests, 2) no one save a few loonies that I believe were false flags (like the mafia shooting) has been arrested and 3) it backfired in the form of the creation of the Digital Soldiers aka Anons.
Hope that helps.
