This got me thinking... I wonder if some of those celebs and other public figures found guilty in military tribunals for pedophilia, treason, human trafficking, genocide, crimes against humanity, etc will "move to another country" and never be heard from again. As in, executed and tossed into the dustbins of history.

Well, if we did that, it loses the benefit of being a warning to others. An important part of punishment is the deterrent factor. Hide the executions and no lessons are learned.

Plus you lose the satisfaction people receive, knowing that an evil person is put down.
