And for those that cannot take BC pills can be fitted with an IUD or see if they can tolerate Depo Provera injections once a month. If they know they don't want to have children, tubal ligation is the best option. Abstinence is still the best way to prevent pregnancy.

Most abortions performed are for convenience because all parties involved just couldn't be bothered with birth control to begin with. Fortunately, (I guess) those are the ones aborting within the first trimester.

People need to stop guilting others for their bad decisions. Every single woman who has a child has to determine how to raise their children and how they will provide for them. Most states have many programs to help mothers and their children with childcare, food, medical care, etc.

I do agree they are plagued by guilt, but the number of women having more than one abortion is outrageous. Perhaps the law should be mandatory sterilization for anyone receiving a subsequent abortion. But that would of course, cut into the profits made by PP.
