I can understand Reagan getting richer during his presidency. He was hugely popular and had a back catalog of movies that people could have bought because they wanted to see what he stared in.

Reagan movies were popular during his Presidency, so I could see him gaining wealth because of royalties from syndicated re-runs of his movies.
