My previous predictions were based on observed behavior, but gold and silver are still under control - only by the thinnest thread however.
What I think will happen next is that over the next few months the economic land-mine that is global debt will break down and I sincerely hope that there is a replacement already in place for it.
I think if you have fiat money - there is a chance it will be replaced, like-for-like, with the new currency that is backed by a basket of commodities, primarily gold and silver (much like BRICS are planning). Who knows, the replacement might even be the BRICS currency.
It's possible there will be a debt jubilee, and gold/silver will be revalued in the new currency.
During the turmoil I expect BTC will do well, people will be scared of the mechanisms of exchange and dump all their cash into Bitcoin, but it will be a mistake. Major players who know what is going on will withdraw all their BTC holdings, leaving the little players footing the bill - much like they usually do.
That last point is probably what would happen if the cabal still have cards to play. If they are out of the game then I have no idea what will happen to BTC.
Whilst people who play the bitcoin game have done well, it's only value is being a method of financial exchange outside of government control - expect to see laws passed to limit that ability. If people lose confidence (and if the bad guys realise just how open bitcoin is to being tracked) then people will sell, and since it's one big ponzi scheme only the early cash-outs will make money.
For example, what would happen if no-one could buy/sell BTC in the 'new' currency? It will become instantly worthless.
It might not of course, but that's a bit risky for my life savings - so I'm sticking with the shiny myself.
There. You wanted a prediction :) It's pure fiction of course, until it happens. In which case you may call me Nostrodamus' heir.
