The plot thickens... I can honestly say I have no clue what this particular three-ring circus is about between Johnson's 180-degree hard turnaround, the concomitant GOP infighting, the capitulation to the left and POTUS' support for him.

Everyone has to assume whatever puppet strings he has wrapped around his neck and limbs received a big pull from whatever creature owns him. And a compromised person with fewer supporting staffers is a compromised person with less ability to do harm to those around him and the nation as a whole.
